This fall, Roima’s Lean System ERP User Group gathered together three times, each time in a different city; the members exchanged ideas in Jakobstad, Tampere and Turku. This year, as in the previous years too, the attendance was abundant and active.
The basic idea of the Lean System User Group is to serve as a forum where Lean System user companies can openly share information on current development projects and where professionals have the opportunity to freely discuss and network with each other. Typically, the representatives of the product’s development organization also attend the meetings, ensuring an effortless and straightforward dialogue.
This fall, companies from the surrounding regions of Jakobstad, Tampere and Turku presented ongoing development projects. Regardless of location, the ideas highlighted in the presentations included important matters, such as the development of Lean System ever more towards a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), quality management projects, global multi-site use and the implementations of Sales and Operations Planning functionalities.
Warm thanks all participants, and special thanks to the presenters: Herrmans, LKI Käldman, Skanlog, Sandvik Mining and Construction, and Valmet Automation!
