Our story

Roima was established in 2014 to answer to the boosting and development needs of the Finnish manufacturing industry. The Roima brand was created on the foundations of five cutting-edge companies to serve as the trusted profitability partner of both big and small industrial companies.

The name Roima comes from the words ROI Machine; we challenge ourselves every day to increase the productivity and profitability of our customers. Our innovativeness and expansionary drive were awarded in 2016, as the Red Herring media house chose Roima as one of the most promising technology companies in the world – as the only Finnish company in our field. Year 2017 Roima was ranked 16th in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Finland list.

Roima is growing strongly. Our customers include numerous successful companies in the technology and food and beverage industries, such as Atria, Beneq, Metso, Patria, Valio, Suomen Transval, Valmet Automotive, and many more.

Based in Finland, Sweden and in the Netherlands, Roima’s employees are experts in the areas of product management, machine vision, enterprise resource planning, operations management and intralogistics. The company’s ownership is divided between Intera Partners and the management and key personnel.
