Significant growth initiated Finnish Design Shop's decision to build a new, modern logistics center. Alongside this development, the company began searching for a new WMS to support its need for efficient ecommerce warehouse management, fast delivery times, and excellent customer experience.
A need for an all-in-one ecommerce WMS
It was important for the company to find the perfect WMS that could secure both capacity growth and delivery reliability and had scalability for further and future growth.
The company decided on FidaWare WMS for its excellent capabilities to secure efficient ecommerce warehouse management and optimize all processes from inbound to outbound. The process of selecting a new warehouse management system began in 2023, and in May 2024, FidaWare WMS was fully implemented. From here, Finnish Design Shop efficiently manages a high volume of orders of varying sizes and quantities.

Efficient ecommerce warehouse management in one flow
The new logistics center includes AutoStore, conveyor systems, and manual storage areas. The ecommerce WMS manages all warehouse flows from inbound to outbound and optimizes all processes. FidaWare integrates manual and automated warehouse areas. This creates a seamless warehouse flow and secure efficient handling of all orders. This enables higher efficiency and quick delivery times, both now and in the future. At Finnish Design Shop, the integration between FidaWare WMS and AutoStore enables efficient processing of hundreds of order lines per hour.
In the shipping area, FidaWare WMS controls a conveyor system that sorts the pre-packed orders and directs them to the correct chutes by freight type. Thereby, orders are quickly dispatched, enabling fast delivery times for the customers.
