Supervin’s warehouse management yields impressive results

Supervin in Hjørring is one of Denmark’s largest online wine retailers. The company started as a physical store and today has a large 700 m2 wine shop. The webshop business quickly took off and as it developed, the company experienced a lack of space and a need for more employees in the warehouse. For this reason, Supervin decided in 2021 to establish a new, large warehouse and invest in warehouse management.

The LOGIA warehouse management system was implemented as a strategic decision to accelerate warehouse optimization and increase efficiency in warehouse processes. LOGIA manages all processes from goods receipt to shipping and supports efficient order processing. A key benefit for Supervin is the ability to ship goods in its own packaging, specifically the wine boxes, which improves the efficiency of the picking process.

Nicolai Thomsen, Logistics Manager at Supervin says: ”With LOGIA we have optimized our picking process. We pick the goods, order freight, apply freight labels, and put the packages directly on the shipping pallet for the freight route in the same handling. It's a big win for us!”

With LOGIA WMS, Supervin has also reduced internal transportation in the warehouse and can keep track of return pallets. The implementation of LOGIA has also had positive results for the customer service department at Supervin, which receives significantly fewer inquiries about incorrect deliveries. Naturally, this also means that the warehouse must handle fewer redeliveries.
